Call for issue with shower diverter. I spoke with Ms. Paula, and she expressed frustration after a recent repair performed on the master bathroom shower system. She provided a diverter for a three handle shower, and the system is not functioning correctly after we installed the diverter. I inspected the shower and found that the diverter may not be intended only for this shower valve, and it can consistently demonstrate water hammer, or even fail to cycle to open or closed, when testing. I removed and cleaned debris from the brass body, and from the diverter. Due to the age and condition of the valve, I recommend replacing the entire valve. However, to demonstrate our commitment to excellent customer service, I am willing to return and install a new diverter if the diverter can be replaced under warranty, or if an original fit diverter can be verified and located.
