Started by removing cast iron piping in crawl space and began to replace with PVC. Will return tomorrow to finish last portion in crawl and start sewer line outside. return the following two days to continue work. Completed the removal of cast-iron in crawlspace and replaced all with 3 inch and 4 inch PVC used J hooks and two by fours to support and strap drain work. checked all areas for leaks and proper pitch. In the yard replaced 4 inch concrete sewer line with 4 inch PVC laid line to appropriate depth and reattached to concrete tap approximately 8 foot deep with approved material methods. After piping was all connected, ran water to ensure for proper drainage function, backfilled trench and hole to rough grade. Repaired section of water service that was hit during excavation. Also added 6 inch cleanout at tap and 4 inch clean out at house. Customer requested house clean out be higher for future landscape work.
