Homeowner states that he has had high pressure since moving into the home and was also notified by his home inspector and called us to fix the issue. Upon arrival homeowner greeted me outside front door and took me to the garage area where the main water shut off is located. I did my inspection and found that the pressure is high and he also needs an expansion tank which he didn’t have as well as a new EWH due to the age 14+ years old. Homeowner opted to just add the expansion tank and replaced the PRV with shut off. I began by turning off the water at the meter and drained the home and removed the original PRV and gate valve. Then I installed a new ball valve shut off and new model PRV and pressed them together. Moved on to installing the expansion tank and bracket to hold it onto the EWH and also pressed it together. I gave homeowner the option to remove the shark bites and install press adapters to prevent future leaks but he refused and just want me to the do the expansion tank. On
