Customer approved estimate for drain replacement in slab, and installation of an exterior cleanout at root infiltration site. On Friday, January 16, 2026, containment barriers were set and work area was protected. Concrete slab was open, deteriorated, cast-iron piping was removed, and new PVC was installed and tied into existing PVC in crawlspace, and to mainline leading out of house. line was camera inspected both upstream and downstream. We saw no significant defects noted beyond typical age. Concrete was in repoured and area cleaned. On Saturday, January 17, 2026, exterior excavation was completed at previous blockage location. Significant root infiltration was found and documented. A cleanout was installed at area where root was identified. Then camera inspection further down line confirmed more root infiltrations customer was then notified of root infiltrations.
