Arrived to the home, customer inherited this home from their father and the home failed the CO due to the existing water heater not having been inspected. I advised to the client that there are flex connections and sharkbite fittings at the top of the water heater being used for water distribution. I provided an option to hard pipe the water lines and change the blow off to the relief valve to copper as per code and to have MyGuy Plumbing stamp the permit. Disconnected and removed flex connections from the water heater. Supplied and installed new copper pipe and fittings at the top of the water heater. Secured my connections and turned the water on to check for leaks. There are no leaks at this time. Purged the system of air. Turned electoral back on to the water heater. *The electric is not up to code for the water heater because a quick disconnect is required. I have past off our Licensed electrician contact information for the client. *Client is aware that the permit fees are at t
