Added, installation of a new thermal expansion tank. - arrived at location and inspected pressure gauge that was previously installed to record water pressure. Gauge at some point spiked to 120 psi. A pressure reducing valve was definitely needed. Installed new pressure reducing valve and set pressure to 65 psi. Installed new thermal expansion tank and set bladder pressure to 65. Restored water and tested for leaks. Flushed toilets and piping in ceiling still has a slight shake when toilets are flushed. A hammer arrest or at this time is needed. Estimate sent over will include material cost only, labor will be free.
