Ran call for error code 102 on 9 month old IMP water softener. I don’t know this happened, but the nut that keeps the piston and stack assembly in place ended up backing out of the threads. This caused the filter to go into limbo because it could not find the proper cycle because of the loose piston/stack assembly. Ended up installing a new injector, piston and stack assembly while I was onsite. All of the original parts seemed like they were in good condition, I just replaced them as a precaution. Ran filter through multiple cycles while I was onsite, filter is working as it should at this time with no issues. Today’s visit was covered under warranty. Emailed copy of invoice to homeowners email.
