Found Reach-In Cooler unit pulling in to a vacuum, low on charge. Pressurized with nitrogen to 250psi and added trace gas to leak test. Found leak at evaporator coil. Evap will need replaced to fix issue. Pulled vacuum and charged unit with 10.5oz of 134a. Ran unit and came down to temp. Will acquire price for evap repair and contact Kirk. BR8AD00102 EVAP unable to find part online.
Removed Ice Machine from shelf at customer location and took to shop for repair. Recovered refrigerant and removed faulty txv and drier. Installed new parts and held 110psi nitrogen for 20 min no leaks. Pulled 500 micron vacuum and charged with factory charge. Ran and tested okay. Pressures good and unit is making ice. Will take back to customer tomorrow. 12/4/19 Picked up ice machine from shop and took it to customer location and installed back onto the shelf. Ran and tested machine okay. Machine does not get very much air flow due to the position it is in also it is above an espresso machine that is creating a lot of heat. Unit is working.
