found SLV dispenser unit off. tested operations found no power to display. swapped cabled with rear unit. broke rear cable because milk sealed cam. checked front cable card found open wire. tried to repair. found unable. will qwp (Expedited Freight) 2 new cables. 3/5/21 installed cable. found normal operation.
Found MDM top Oven left side blower not spinning when turned on. Removed end panel and found motor spinning in mounting bracket and wiring wrapped around motor. Was able to spin motor back to original position and strapped motor down with metal strapping so wont spin. Motor working but sounds very bad bearing shot and motor vibrating very rough. Brought up to temp unit working as of now. Spoke with Sheldon and recommend replacing motor, unsure how long will work.
MDM Oven is up and running at temp. Shut oven down and waited for cool down and restarted ok. Spoke with customer and blower switch sends power to controller and she stated controller went blank. Installed new blower switch per customer. Could be a controller issue as well.
MDM oven temp dropping: 3/11/20 Found top oven on and up to temp. Watched one cycle and tested microamps okay. Tested mv on t couple okay. Did find modulating valve buzzing, will need new valve, also comb blower is weak, will need new comb blower. Will make estimate for repair.
Found both MDM gas ovens in operation. top oven is at max top and speed settings. inspected found actual temps low. adjusted probe position. make more satisfying temps. mgr will adjust times to compensate. found left side is cooler than right, will return in a morning when ovens are cool to inspect blower.
Found microwave oven unit off. Removed cover and inspected unit. Found middle 12amp fuse blown. Replaced fuse and started unit. Put unit into test mode and checked mag circuit, at 17 amps. Spoke with Louis at turbo chef and said issue may be due to shorted wire or power surge. Checked for bad wiring and found none. Let unit heat to temp and ran for 30 minutes with no issues. Unit okay at this time.
