We had recently had preformed an annual plumbing inspection, at the time of inspection I replaced the washing machine valves, also tightened tubular connection under kitchen sink. We arrived because client thought there was a leak under their kitchen sink, after a thorough evaluation I discovered is actually coming from the deck plate of the faucet. If water touches the faucet it leaks from underneath. For today I placed caulking around all the trim and deck plates to insure a water tight seal. I advised to the client if it keeps leaking replacement of faucet would be recommended. If client calls back to replace faucets I will credit today’s diagnostic fee towards the work. I caulked around bathroom faucet as well as per the client.
