Arrived on site customer currently has a tanked power vent water heater and would like to have it replaced with a Rinnai tankless they will be supplying. Performed Upon inspection found that we will be removing existing tank, hanging new unit on back wall and running all piping in pex pipe, we will be installing a new gas line at the beginning of the run off the 1-1/4 black pipe and running a 1” csst gas line that will penetrate through the wall the tankless is on and we will be hard piping the gas line to the unit, the exhaust for the unit will be tied into existing piping used for the power vent, the air intake will be piped to outside the home above the garage and stubbed down through the soffit, customer already has existing outlet for power, and the condensate drain will be ran the the existing 3” floor drain in the utility room.
