We had recently had replaced the showerhead for the client, we arrived today due to a leak and staining on the ceiling right above the shower. In order to determine if it is related to the showerhead swap out, I disconnected the shower trim to get access and see inside the wall. With the trim removed, I turned on both shower heads and it is completely dry in the wall. I next sprayed water along the seams of the tile and shower base to recreate the problem. I then sprayed the handheld towards the corner of the shower door and wall, and within a matter of 20sec, the whole bathroom floor fills with water. There are many problem spots on the tiling and grout, along with a huge grout line missing in front of the toilet. I also determined that the bathroom group is not very level, reason I know this, is because when I sprayed the corner and water leaks out and onto the floor, the water pitch’s towards the opening.
