Customer had a USB plug downstairs in the laundry room going out to his garage that was getting hot. Explain to customer that USB ports naturally get hot due to it converting from 120 V down to low-voltage and it all being compacted into one outlet. Explain to customer we can replace it back to a standard outlet. Customer said let’s keep it and verify that the connections were tied in the plug was not melting and everything looked fine and there were no issues with the outlet and I tightened up connections and tested and everything was working fine. Also had a cut in box upstairs back right office/bedroom closet light switch that had the ears broken off so repaired box and put back in wall. Five year warranty on the box and no warranty on the plug.
