Customer had a bad plug in the front yard that he wanted us to replace. Replace the plug and everything worked with no issues. Explain GFCI protection to customer and how to test and reset outlet in the garage. Explain that if we had to come back out we will automatically charge for a standard troubleshoot
Ran dedicated 60 amp circuit to car charger in garage turned power on tested voltage at car charger made sure we where getting 240v customer did not have car here to test charger will test it once car is here. Customer was 100% happy and satisfied with todays service.
Arrived to look at issue with two switches that are not operational and confirmed they are not under warranty. Customer is going to get replacements and will have use back out to install when the new ones are available.
Customer called us out for water heater pilot light being out, Explained he wanted it replaced due to age, but if I could relight it, then I can start with that. Wrote up estimate for relight. Customer decided he only wanted estimates for water heater replacement. Gave multiple estimates, Customer stated he is getting other estimates. I did explain I could call my supervisor and see if there was anything he could do for the homeowner to get Customer back into hot water today. Customer said no.
Homeowner met inspector o site and passed the final inspection.
Performed waterline spot repair on three-quarter PVC in front yard to the right of the driveway. Paid with card. Job complete.
1. Install large chandelier 2. Install customer supplied dimmer Installed a large chandelier in the nook/dining room area and a customer supply dimmer. Everything worked with no issues and a five-year warranty only on the installation. customer is happy with today’s visit.
Customer wanted a price to install two can lights above his island, put a bypass switch for his photocell in the garage, a bypass switch for his lights in the front, and then add a island plug. Customer said that he will attempt to do it himself and he will give us a call back if he has any issues. Quote is good for 30 days.
Arrived on site to perform a home electrical safety evaluation. This inspection allows me to assess the electrical system for any potential code violations or safety hazards. During the inspection, I opened the two exterior panels and noticed a double-lugged feeder wire. The meter base is designed to support only one 200-amp panel, but the feeder wires were tapped to supply power to a second 200-amp panel. This configuration is not up to code and poses a fire hazard, as it could cause arcing or sparking without tripping a breaker. Additionally, there are double-lugged neutrals and other code violations within the panels. I also observed no grounding system present—there are no individual 8-foot copper grounding rods for each panel. The cold water bond is missing, and there is no intersystem bonding for cable or internet connections. Inside the home, I found that the kitchen island outlet is not GFCI protected, though the rest of the kitchen outlets are. The bathroom outlets are GFCI
Installed EV charger, whole house surge protection
Arrived to look at adding a dedicated circuit for EV charging. The panel is in a single car garage and the charger will go across the attic to the main garage on the back wall. Also provided quote to include whole house surge protection. Quotes are good for thirty days.
Arrived to replace the garage outlets and switches as the walls and floor have been redone so the ivory no longer matches. Installed white decora style gfci, outlets, switches. In the master bedroom the box had broken and when removing the box the Sheetrock had weakened so installed a two gang box and upgraded to a quad outlet to remedy the issue. Removed the broken bulb and installed new bulb.
