Homeowner had a power outage that sent the combination breakers into safe mode and he was unable to reset. Found that they we not being reset properly so showed him to turn it fully off before reseting back to on and if this does not work then call us and we will come out.
Arrived on the job site. The customer stated that his outdoor outlets, including the restroom outlets, were not working. Upon inspection, I found a tripped GFCI that controls both the outdoor and restroom outlets. I reset the GFCI but noticed the breaker was difficult to reset and was an older-style BR GFCI breaker. I explained to the customer that the trip likely occurred for a reason and recommended replacing all outdoor outlets with new ones equipped with bubble covers and sealed with silicone to prevent water or moisture from entering and causing future trips. I also advised replacing the restroom outlets due to their age and condition. Additionally, we will be replacing two GFCI breakers — one 15-amp breaker controlling the outdoor and restroom outlets, and one 20-amp breaker controlling the pool light, as indicated on the panel cover. Replace hallway smoke/CO combo detector giving “end of life” chirps, replace faulty LED recessed trim in laundry room, replace broken floor outlet cover in living room. *Will return next week to discuss permanent solution to expiring smoke detectors as well as faulty LED recessed lights Replaced broken floor plug bracket and installed new cover with new outlets. Replaced one faulty combo detector upstairs, and replaced back led recessed fixture in utility room.

Restored flow to drain from roof vent. Called out supervisor to perform camera inspection. Camera found that there is troughing/channel rot, scale buildup and cracks present throughout the cast iron mainline. Sent over estimates for next steps
Customer had a ceiling fan quit working and then realized after the plugs quit working in the master bedroom. Found that the 2 switches connected to the fan had a disconnected hot that came disconnected due to a poor connection originally. Redid the switches and wrapped the screw and the plugs cut on and so did the switches. Warranty only on the connections. Explained stablocked plugs and switches. There are no issues at this time.
