Arrived on the job site, and the customer stated that his front outdoor outlet was not working properly. Upon inspection, found that the outlet was tripped from a GFCI located in the hall bathroom on the left side of the home. Also noticed that the circuit was protected by a dual-function GFCI/AFCI breaker, which is not required for outdoor outlets. Replaced the breaker with a standard GFCI breaker. Additionally, replaced all GFCI outlets in the bathrooms with standard duplex outlets—five outlets total in the hall bathrooms. Also replaced two outdoor outlets and installed two bubble covers. Informed the customer that all work is covered under a 5-year warranty. Verified proper operation and walked the completed job with the customer. Customer is 100% happy and satisfied with today’s visit.
Met inspector onsite and passed the final inspection. Did have to schedule a warranty return to correct a few items like the crooked cover on front of home, missing support straps under kitchen sink.

Arrived on the job site. The customer stated that one of the outlets in her bedroom—originally converted from the garage—had stopped working after a loud pop while a space heater was plugged in. I explained to the customer that a space heater should not be used on that circuit because it draws approximately 12.5 amps and should be on a dedicated 20-amp circuit. I inspected the outlet and found that the wires were melted. I showed the customer the damage and explained how the space heater caused the issue. I also informed her that the home’s current electrical panel is a recalled model, and the breakers are known to fail under overheating conditions, which can prevent them from tripping properly—contributing to the melted wiring. I replaced the outlet, re-spliced all the wires, and ensured everything was working safely. The customer understands the situation and has a five-year warranty on the outlet. Marco and I will return on the 16th during the afternoon window to provide solutions
