Ian came on a Sunday to unclog a toilet I couldn't get done even after removing the toilet. He had a more powerful auger and finally got it after about 20 minutes. Upon his suggestions I scheduled a video inspection of all my drain lines.

Inspection had to postpone until Friday as the hydrostatic test was dropping due to testing the whole home. Warranty return scheduled for tomorrow morning for additional test port to be installed so can perform a isolated hydrostatic test to get permit closed out.
Arrived to look at electrical equipment after homeowners had a panel replacement done with us and the electric bill has gone up continually since then. I was not able to determine anything drawing crazy high power and found no traces of heat mark or damage to any of the new equipment. All appliances seem to be running normally as they were before. Homeowner has oncor set to come do a study to determine if they can find any faults. Also advised to have the HVAC equipment looked at as the heat pump could be in emergency mode which can cause it to pull more power. Other option are to install a customer supplied energy monitoring system or perform a major troubleshoot and go through all the appliances and circuits.
1. Replace 1 fixture in dining room and everything worked with no issues 2. Replace 1 fixture in nook area and everything worked with no issues 3. Replace dual function breaker due to it being a gen 2 and tripping and everything cut on and worked with no issues and only warranty breaker and explained what the breaker does and how it works. Customer also bought two fixtures for the hallway, but neither one of the fixtures had a bracket to be able to stall the fixture. Explain to customer the only way it will work is if he gets the correct bracket for the exact fixture from where he bought it. Left a price for us to come back out and install the two fixtures. Customer understands that it’s going to be a charge and understands that we can’t do anything about parts missing from a fixture.

Client reported persistent backups in one of the bathrooms. Over the past few days, the toilet and shower have been backing up into each other, and water has begun seeping from the base of the toilet. The client attempted to cable the shower drain but was unsuccessful. After removing the toilet, he discovered that a previous flange repair had been performed before he purchased the home and that the wax seal had not been installed. He then attempted to clear the blockage by cabling through the flange with a hand snake but was unable to get past the obstruction. No other fixtures in the home are affected. I will begin by setting up my drain machine at the flange and cabling downstream to attempt to clear the blockage and restore proper drainage. After cabling, we will run water through both the shower and the flange to verify proper flow and function. No warranties are provided on any drain cabling services.

Upon arrival the home owner directed me to the kitchen area and explained that water has been sitting in the dishwasher and not draining properly. I removed large debris from the screen in the dishwasher and set it to drain. The water began to drain and wasn’t going down the disposal in a timely manner due to large debris in the disposal. Advised customer about installing a larger disposal and/or reducing the amount of large food particles going down the drain.

Customer had a burnt neutral wire on a light fixture with a broken socket and pull down fixture and realized that the wire was burn recommended not installing back up after repairing. So swap the two fixtures in the hallway and put the good fixture where she wanted light and installed a new lightbulb and everything worked with no issues and installed the bad fixture where she didn’t want a light fixture and just did not hook back up due to it being burnt.
