Arrived on the job site and the customer stated that a couple of breakers were randomly tripping. I noticed that the Cutler-Hammer blue dual-function breakers were part of a recall. Three breakers were reading six blinks, indicating they were faulty, so I replaced them. I also found several other dual-function breakers that were missing the TL Gen 3 style. I contacted Eaton Warranty on behalf of the customer to have those breakers sent out. The customer will call back to move forward with replacing the remaining breakers once they arrive. The customer understands that there is a five-year warranty on the breakers I replaced and is 100% happy and satisfied with today’s visit.

Customer had half of circuit in the living room that was not working. Customer said that the breaker was tripped the night before and he went out and reset it and only the son’s bedroom cut on. Not to circuit was a two wire system and explain the hazard with having a two bar system with no ground. Could not find the issue in the house, so went into the crawlspace where all the wires seem to come up at and found an open splice that had a broken connection on the hot wire. Had to install a junction box and put wires and redo connections. Five year warranty only on the junction box and gave options to fix the cloth wire and explain why it is such a big concern and also explained overloading the circuit.

Arrived on the job site, and the customer requested two pendant lights to be installed over the kitchen island. I also installed the customer-supplied devices, which included two Lutron Maestro single-pole dimmer switches—one for the middle stairway bathroom and one for the guest bathroom. The first dimmer controls the lights over the door area, and the second controls the lights over the toilet and vanity. I also installed another dimmer switch on the third floor that controls the single hallway light leading to the bedroom and bathroom. Also replaced the customer-supplied transformer to ensure the doorbell camera operated properly. I walked the customer through all the work so he understands how everything functions. The customer has a five-year warranty on all connections, excluding customer-supplied materials. The customer is 100% happy and satisfied with today’s visit.

The warranty for icemaker that was installed. Upon inspection, I determined that it was an appliance issue and not a plumbing issue. Suggested that the customer reach out to the manufacturer or an appliance technician to further resolve the issue. Job complete.

Arrived on the job site, and the customer stated that he was looking for a free quote to upgrade his Sylvania panels after learning they are not up to code and pose a potential safety hazard. Opened both panel covers for inspection and noticed that the left panel shows signs of melting and arcing damage on the bus bar and breakers, indicating the panel needs full replacement. The right-side 150-amp main panel also appears outdated and in need of replacement. Additionally, observed that there is no 320-amp meter base even though it is feeding two main panels. When contacting Encore to cut the meter seal and open the meter base, I found that both feeder wires on the load side are double-lugged, which is not up to code. Provided the customer with two possible solutions: 1. Replace both panels and upgrade to a 320-amp meter base, or 2. Replace one panel and install a new 200-amp meter base. The customer would like some time to review the quote and will call back to proceed with the wo
