Arrived to look at various issues on the inspection report starting in the attic with the damaged wire. The homeowner has had new ductwork installed and the wires were a lot of it meets together is damaged and you can see that someone say the damage and installed ducting tape over the wires to try and cover it. Provided quote to remove damaged section of wire. Also found open splice box that needs coverplate. The burned up wire is in the outside A/C disconnect were a new equipment surge was installed and had burned up a connection. Also the outside disconnect is only rated for 30 amps and needs to be 35 to match the condenser rating which is located on front of unit. Provided quote to replace disconnect and equipment surge. Also found that multiple outlets that had open grounds from the kitchen remodel. The grounds are attached to the devices but are disconnected somewhere along the circuits. If unreachable can mark the outlet with no equipment ground sticker or would have to run new w
