Arrived on site to perform maintenance on 3 year old Trane system. System was not installed by us. Cycled system for heat. Verified proper heating sequence of operations. Ran system through 20 point inspection checklist. Heating and electrical check out good. Homeowner did mention a vent in the kitchen that blows out way too much air. After ductwork inspection found that ducting is original and does not have any dampers to be able to adjust airflow. Ductwork is slightly undersized and could be designed a lot better for more even airflow throughout the home. System could also use more return to quiet the system down in the hallway. Filter is clean. Went over findings and recommendations with homeowner. Also informed homeowner that this is last visit of maintenance program. With approval, renewed homeowner on yearly maintenance program. Cycled system, system is operational upon departure.
