Resolution/Recommendations: I was able to successfully cut out section of 3/4” CPVC piping, and replace it with brand new 3/4” Pex piping material with no issues. I installed brand new thermal expansion tank, and mounting brackets for the tank itself. I fully pressurized the system with no further issues or leaks.
