This is a complementary estimate to have the existing dishwasher located in main level kitchen of home replaced with brand new LG dishwasher. This will also require capping off drain line located in crawlspace, and cutting hole into cabinetry to feed new dishwasher. Drain line through. Customer Stated: She needed to have her dishwasher installed and was told by an installation company that the drain line would need to be cut out for the cabinetry, and waterline we need to be moved. Tech Notes: Upon inspection, I found that the waterline is directly under the current dishwasher. I found that there was no hole for the drain line for new washer. Presented options to have all three done their service today, and homeowner elected to move forward. Resolution: I was able to successfully remove existing dishwasher, and move existing waterline to another location, so new dishwasher can go in. We were able to cap off old existing waterline with no issues. We were also able to cut a hole into

CUSTOMER STATED: upstairs bathroom faucet is leaking in the master bathroom TECHNICIAN NOTES: technician found that the upstairs master bathroom faucet was improperly installed due to the style of the faucet and the thickness of the granite countertop. We cannot properly remove the cartridge or reinstall a new valve properly. RESOLUTION/RECOMMENDATIONS: to replace the whole faucet with an 8 inch replacement to completely resolve the issue. Upon further investigation, technician found that the water pressure to the home is 140 psi, which is full street pressure due to a very old regulator that is 15 to 20+ years old. Pressure regulating valve is located in the garage, due to the location of the pressure regulating valve we will need to make additional pipe modifications so that we can properly install the pressure regulator. Estimate to replace the existing 2 handle shower valve in the master bathroom. This shower valve also has what I believe is integral stops that come out of the wall as well. In order to replace this shower valve we will have to remove tile from the front side of the shower as there is no access from behind. Tile will either need replaced or a large remodel plate will be needed. Estimate includes going from a two handle valve to a single handle valve. I am unable to find a large enough remodel plate that would cover this amount of area. Tile work will be needed. Tile will need opened up, old valve assembly removed. New shower valve will need roughed in. After new valve is installed tile will need reinstalled (we do not do tile work) once tile is set and in place trim can be installed on shower valve. 1/23/2024 Technician notes: cut out tile, concrete and mesh wiring for master bathroom shower valve, installed new delta single handle shower valve. Unable to install trim due to the t

Customer States: Shower valve is leaking and dripping. Technician Notes: Based on what I have found with this particular shower valve, it will be best to replace the valve. I am unable to locate parts for this valve. “Standard” brand shower valves went out of business in 1967. Resolution: Spoke to home owner about replacement. She is on board with replacing this valve (this is a rental home, she does not live here) she will let us know if she wants to go with customer supplied or have us supply the shower valve. She is aware we do not do tile work. Job Notes: Send estimates to customer. She is going to Home Depot to look at valves. Job Status: Complete. Estimates: Good to send. Collected credit card over the phone for HCC membership.
