Tech Notes: We came out to replaced the current Olympus trim kit with a delta trim kit. The Olympus cartridge is not compatible with the Delta trim kit. We will need to get approval to replace the current shower valve with a new Delta shower valve. We will access the current shower valve through the closet behind the current shower. We will cut the drywall to expose the current valve and make the repair. We also discovered that the house pressure is at 80 psi. The prv has failed and needs to be replaced and the thermal expansion tank has failed. We will replace the prv, the thermal expansion tank, and the shower valve to complete this repair and make sure that all code required items are functioning correctly.
