Customer stated: they had a leak in the ceiling. Tech notes: called out today to look at a leaking the ceiling. While on site I found the home owner had a pin hole leak on a 1/2 inch polybutylene supply line. The poly supply line was feeding the cold side faucet in the powder bathroom on the main level. Resolution: pulled pedestal sink in powder bathroom and cut holes in dry wall to expose line. After exposing the line I cut it above and below the floor and sliding a piece of pex n to make repair. After repair was made I reinstalled the pedestal sink and turned water on to test and found everything functioning properly as should. Job status: complete Job notes: please bill cc on file. And email estimates to home owner. This estimate is to repair a pin hole leak on a polybutylene supply line that is behind a pedal stools sink. We will need to remove the pedestal sink and cut out a section of dry wall to expose the pinhole.
