Arrived to the home, customer states their existing insinketor is leaking from the housing. I discovered that if the insta hot faucet gets turned on it leaking from the housing underneath. I advised to the client to have the insta hot replace since there is no way to repair it. Customer would like quotes if they were to provide the system or have MyGuy Plumbing provided the system. I will leave quotes for the work to be completed and will credit today’s diagnostic fee towards the cost of the work. I also advised to the client that if they were to have an apples to apples GE filtration system on site at the time of the work quoted I would install that as a one time curtesy. Lastly, client has a tankless water heater that is fairly new but has never been descaled or flushed. I advised to the client that we will have one of our tankless specialists come out at a later date to flush the system.
