Arrived to the home, customer has stated an active leak coming from somewhere in the basement from the hose Bibb, client has a motorized whole home water shut off valve and the home is currently off at this time. After a through evaluation I discovered that the sharkbite fitting the attached to the existing hose bib that has a cracked on it and has failed. I provided options for repairing and removing the damaged sharkbite fitting, or replacing the hose Bibb. The shut off valve was also attached to a sharkbite fitting too. Client would like to get rid of all the sharkbite fittings near and around the hose Bibb. Turned water off to the home. Drain the system of water. Cut out and removed the broken sharkbite fitting and existing ball valve. Supplied and installed new ball valve and hose Bibb. Secured my connections and turned the home back on to check for leaks. There are no leaks at this time. Purged the system of air as well. *Client understands that the warranty is voided if they
