Arrived to the home, we had recently come out due to the client experiencing weird humming noises throughout the home whenever a toilet is flushed or a faucet is ran. I diagnosed this issue as a failing PRV that is located above the water heater. Client stated the also experienced different pressures throughout the day. Turned off water t9 the home and drained the system. Disconnected and removed existing PRV from the home. Supplied and installed brand new 1in PRV before the meter. Secured all my connections and turned the water on to the home to check for leaks. There are no leaks at this time. Prior to install, i checked water pressure and it was at 61psi I adjusted the new PRV pressure to what the home normally is at.
