We had recently replaced majority of the copper piping in the meter booth for the trailer, we arrived today due to a new leak. When I arrived I could not see in the booth due to everything being under water. I advised to the client to have t(e town come and shut off the water at the street. We arrived back and discovered that approximately three inches before the new ball valve we gave the client, that a brass 90 had split. I provided an option for replacing the piping. I then made the appropriate repairs and discovered that the actual meter had froze and broke as well. I was able to test my work and all the new pipe and fittings I gave the client are holding. Client will need to call the water company back to replace the meter. I gave the client this service at a discounted rate since we were here about a week ago.
