Arrived to the home, client states they are in the process of selling the home, the existing pressurized vacuum breaker for the irrigation system froze and broke causing a flood outside the home. The shut off valve for the sprinkler system is located above the water heater. While in the utility room I have located other plumbing issues, unrelated to what the client has called for. Those issue include, pex piping being use for the tub spout for the bathtub, over a dozen shark bite fittings for the existing whole home carbon filter, lastly, the water filtration system does not have a bypass. I provided options for fixing all plumbing issues or just the issues outside. Client would like to go over the option given and will call us back with their decision. I will credit today’s diagnostic fee towards the cost of the work to be completed.
