Performed heat pump diagnostic on 2002 Goodman system. Arrived on site to find system non-operational in heating mode customer stated this started happening a couple days ago. On initial start up heard indoor blower motor trying to start on air handler unit in attic. Proceeded outside to find outdoor condenser going off on high pressure due to no airflow across evaporator coil in the attic. Determined that single secondary motor control in attic is no longer supplying power to indoor blower motor this is what was causing no airflow in the system to go off on high pressure. Indoor blower motor has oil leakage and is overheating. Did a full inspection on outdoor unit and found that system contained R22 refrigerant which was completely phased out January 1, 2020. Found the high voltage is extremely pitted on contact points due to over amping over the years, This component access the brakes for the system and could potential fail if left in this condition.
