Tech arrived on site. Started ac tune up of 2 systems. Cleaned outdoor coils and cleaned out electrical. Inspected motors. Downstairs ac was over amping. Upstairs fan motor is at max. Downstairs compressor is amping high for how cold it was outside. Refrigerant charge seemed low on downstairs unit, however it could have been due to the outdoor temperature. Both capacitors are low and will fail soon. Indoor units, both are resting on wood and not actual stands. Only form of drain protection is the emergency pan. No safety switches. Condensate lines do not have breather tubes. Indoor blower motor is leaking oil for the downstairs unit. Units do heat and cool properly but are consuming high power, causing high electrical bills. Both units are operational upon departure.
