Arrived on site to perform maintenance on 22 year old Lennox equipment. Cycled system for cooling. Checked indoor unit electrical and system components. Indoor motor has been replaced with a rescue variable speed. Blower wheel is dirty. System is equipped with whole home purification system, but UV light and catalyst are no longer working and need replacement. Temperature split is in range. Checked outdoor unit electrical and components. Primary motor control has slight burning and pitting. Secondary motor control is in range and booster is as well. Amp draws on compressor are extremely high and inefficient, and puts compressor at risk for failure.. Condenser fan motor amp draws are also high and fan motor has lost a significant amount of oil. Pulled condenser top and thoroughly washed out condenser coil inside and out. Refrigerant levels are within range. Overall system is cooling, but is extremely inefficient and has a number of concerns. Homeowner did not want to go over findings an
