Arrived on site to diagnose a no cooling 2009 Goodman system. Condenser located in back yard. Furnace and evaporator coil located in attic. Spoke with client and stated about 3 days ago she notice she would run system to cool and few hours passed by and home was getting warmer. She want out side and noticed condenser system would not operate but indoor unit would. Inspect out door unit. Checked electrical compartment and components. Found system to be getting high and low voltage. Found secondary control good and in range. Found primary start control was actually bad and shorted out as a bug did get stuck in at point of contact and cause primary start control to fail. Advised I would need to replaced Bad components to get system operating and continue system evaluation. Client approved to replace starter. System is now operational. Checked amp drawls on compressor. Found start up amps are above max range as system has developed self wear over its 11 years of operation and from lack o
