Technician arrived on site and started performing one AC tune up. Cleaned condenser coil‘s with chemical and hose them down until no chemicals are present. Opened up electrical compartment and started to clean out cabinet. Found the capacitor to be reading week. Found compressor starting amps to be high. Fan motor is looking okay. No major oil leakage. Amps are within range but high. Charge is okay. Temp split is 17.9/20 Unit is old, and compressor is starting up rough. Recommend hard start kit to lower amperage. Would also recommend budgeting for replacement of system soon. Replaced cap. 1 year parts labor on that part.
