Performed diagnostic on system. Homeowner just moved in to home a couple days ago. She has a strange smell in the home that she can’t figure out what it is, but is more predominant when the AC IS running. Upon arrival, the smell inside the home is that of a wet wood smell, and is more obvious in the back two rooms. Fully inspected hvac components as well as attic but could not pin point anything coming from hvac system. Smell does not seem related to hvac system. Home did get remodeled recently and all walls are freshly painted so there is no wet stain anywhere. After discussing everything with homeowner she was not aware of the age of the equipment, which is 30+ years old. Homeowner is interested in replacing the system as she feel uneasy using it due to the age of the equipment. Turning call over to Darren to come out and give replacement options on Thursday from 4-6.
