Performed furnace maintenance on 7 year old trane system. Cycled system for heating. Verified proper heating sequence of operations. Temperature rise across heat exchanger is within range. Replaced 1 inch filters. Ran system through 20 point inspection checklist. Went over findings and recommendations with homeowner. Homeowner mentioned that she has a couple rooms with airflow problems that she would like to get fixed. Spoke about doing some minor tweaks to the existing ducting, or replacing all the ducting altogether. Homeowner ultimately wants to replace the ductwork. Gave her a approx estimate to get ducting replaced. Would need to get a specialist out to properly size ducting. Homeowner has to get her schedule coordinated as she does not live on the property year round. She will give us a call when ready. Cycled system, system is operational upon departure.
