Arrived on site to perform tune up on a 2014 airflow unit. Condenser located in back yard. Furnace and Evaporator coils located in attic. Client stated units original to home. Filters have never been replaced and replaced filter. Blower wheel is okay just slightly dusty due to lack of maintenance. Motor is good. Evaporator coil is good at this time. Drain lines are good just only one primary to evaporator coil and no safety overflow switches on lines. Recommend adding so to protect ceiling from water overflow. No protection on unit and recommended adding surge protectors to protect systems from electrical surges and power outages that can damage or even short out systems and components. Cycled unit and went over all findings and recommendations with client. Client is aware of how unit is running and it’s condition and how unit is running. Client did hold off on recommendations. Cycled system to ensure system operating. System is operational upon departure.
