Performed AC diagnostic on 1990 Trane condensing unit. Upon my diagnostic they were many points or concerns that need to be addressed to get the system operating properly Trane system- 1. Indoor blower cabinet caked in dirt and debris 2. Heat exchanger potentially cracked due to undersized return and filter is not being swapped out enough. 3. Duct work completely ripped up and non-insulated causing air leakage within attic. 4. Pancake coil has a rotted drain pan along with no secondary drain line routed to the outside of home. Due to no secondary float switch and rotted pan, this is why the system is flooded over and caused damage to the ceiling 5. Return and supply Plenum contained no insulation. 6. System contained R22 refrigerant Which has been phased out as of January 1, 2020. 7. Systems are below 10 Seer 8. Outdoor units had no insulation on suction line along with not enough room for heat rejection leaving condenser coil’s. They are located under patio. Mr. Robinson would li
