Arrived on site, homeowner mentioned that unit stopped cooling a few days after the maintenance. Feels like everything is turning on but the unit is not cooling. Cycled system for cooling. Unit kicks on, checked outdoor unit and compressor is not turning on. Opened electrical compartment and seen that compressor wire had charred up. This more than likely happened because compressor is working so hard. Repaired wire, cycled system and compressor kicked on and unit started cooling. Advised homeowner what happened, and took care of today at no charge. Understands unit working hard and they are planning to replace soon. System is operational upon departure.
