Customer called about his heat pump AC condenser breaker tripping. Found breaker shows normal voltage with disconnect off. Breaker holds while disconnected from condenser. Possibly an issue with the unit. Also found main feed wire is burnt up. Informed customer that under a load, the loose connection may be the cause of the issue. Highly recommended replacing the panel due to damage as well as age.
