Arrived on the job site, and the customer stated that he had two faulty GFCI outlets as well as non-working Ethernet ports. Upon inspection of the media box, I found that the small black device acting as the Ethernet port hub was burned out and needed to be replaced. After bypassing it and plugging the Ethernet cables directly into the modem, all Ethernet connections worked properly. I replaced both GFCI outlets in the garage and the GFCI in the master bathroom. The customer understands that the GFCI replacements come with a five-year warranty. The customer is 100% happy and satisfied with today’s visit.
