Customer called us out for higher pressure than normal wanted to get pressure checked and estimate for prv replacement. Looked throughout home with customer and checked pressure at front outside hose faucet ( pressure was 95psi ) did explain to customer that is very high compared to the 80 psi it is supposed to be at and is only going to keep going up until it closes completely and result in no pressure. Gave estimate for prv w expansion tank and without , explained the differences between. Customer wants to think about it, explained I will call supervisor and see if there’s anything he can do about it so we can take care of it today. They said they need to think about it. Quotes are good for 30 days.
