Arrived onsite for a no-heat service call in a Munchin high efficiency boiler with indirect hot water tank. Performed diagnostic and found fault in the ignition system. Attempted to find replacement parts but difficult to obtain. Parts will need to be special order and require at least 3 business days. Cleaned up current ignition system. Even with broken electrode, the system was able to spark enough to run. It is not operating with any certainty. Homeowner elected to forego the repair and would like to replace the system. Will have office set an appointment for an estimate.
