Arrived onsite for platinum air movement renovation and install WiFi thermostat. Began by removing blower motor and fan. Everything is covered in dirt and dust from lack of filter. Wiped down the empty blower cabinet. Chemically cleaned the blower cabinet. Disassembled blower motor and fan wheel. Chemically cleaned the blower wheel and washed with hose water. Went blade by blade to remove stick on dirt. Wiped the blower motor. Used compressed air to clear the blower motor of dust and dirt particles. Wiped all electrical wires of dirt. Allowed blower fan wheel to completely dry. Reassembled the cleaned air movement components. Confirmed proper alignment and wiring. Installed 16x24x1 filter.
Arrived onsite for review of the thermostat to add WiFi thermostat and possibly adding an additional wire. Pull the thermostat off the wall and inspected the current wiring. Found 4 wires being used and 6 wires in the packet. This provides two wires to be used to power wifi thermostat. Called customer to confirm there aren’t any known issues with the two unused wires. Will provide estimate for renovation, thermostat installation, and duct cleaning.

Performed the maintenance for the oil fired hot water boiler, replaced the nozzle, oil filter, and pump screen. Opened the boiler and brushed and vacuum the heat exchanger and checked the chimney breach. Started up the system and performed a combustion test, the burner and boiler are operating properly.

Confirmed all zones heating but found several other faults and leaks. Will provide homeowner a quote for repair and replacing.

Perform the service for the oil boiler, replaced the nozzle, filter, and pump screen. Open and brushed the heat exchanger and vacuumed out. Started up the burner and performed a full combustion test, the burner is operating properly at this time. I did find two issues that need to be addressed, the combustion chamber inside the boiler is falling apart and needs to be replaced. This will expose more of the heat exchanger to direct heat which could cause premature failure and also because of the debris will cause the flame pattern to be distorted and create other issues as far as proper burn is concerned. Also found that the zone valve for the kitchen/ family room / laundry room area is opening however the end switch is not closing properly and is not cycling the boiler on. The zone valve head will need to be replaced.

Completed an air conditioning repair job for a residential customer. After inspecting the system, identified the problem as a faulty thermostat. After making the repairs, tested the unit to ensure it was working properly. The system is now working as it should for the home.
After 2-3 Arrival; Comfort Club- Customer reports smelling gas since last night. Needs an hour before arrival heads up so that he can leave work. Customer called propane company, they looked at it from the outside and deemed everything was safe out there. Made customer aware of diagnostic. He mentioned that he also would like his maintenance completed. I made him aware that we will not be able to do it day of. He was in a rush when he was on the phone with me, if he asks about when we can complete maintenance, we can come back this Thursday the 28th with an arrival between 10-2. I plan on following up in the morning to schedule that with him. Going to be a 2-3 hour maintenance.
