Arrived on site performed the spring maintenance for one AC system, chemically clean the condenser, removed the media from the polarized media, air cleaner and replaced it. We have one replacement media available for next season. Opened the air handler and checked the evaporator coil, checked the blower motor and the blower wheel, checked electrical connections. Started up the air handler and confirmed that the blower motor is running properly and there are no vibrations, checked the drain line and confirm that the EZ trap is not blocked. start up the condenser and checked refrigerant pressures and temperatures, found that the sub cooling was low and that the system needs to be topped off. checked high voltage to the system, confirmed operation of the contactor, confirmed voltage to the contactor coil. All OK.

Arrived onsite for ac maintenance on 1 system. Asked customer to turn AC on to confirm operation. System didn’t start. Found bad fused in the air handler. Replaced and system started up. Checked all electrical. Chemically Cleaned outside unit, measured pressures for 410a at 112/200psi with 3 degree sub cooling with outside temperature at 60 degrees. Measured temperature drop at 22 degrees. Cleaned evaporator coil and blew out condensate line. Performed efficiency test utilizing MeasureQuick. System running as it should.
Arrived on site to check out the oil furnace that was not operating correctly, upon arrival I replaced the nozzle which was extremely dirty and the pump screen. I readjusted the gap for the electrodes, the existing gap was double the width of what it should be and on cold start may have been causing the spark to drop out and causing a flame failure. I adjusted the z setting as well and confirmed that the combustion head did not have any cracks or was being impeded. Replaced the flue pipe and sealed the chimney, started up the furnace and it ignited smoothly and instantly. I allowed the temperature in the house to go from 64 to 66° and let the thermostat cycle the system off, I allowed it to cool down and then recycled it and confirmed that the furnace is igniting and operating properly.
