Positive Experience

Joe was excellent and came out, as promised, 8:15 at night and explained options, possibilities and some history on our unit. Unfortunately, the units problem seems intermittent and will require a follow up service call as it was up and running while Joe was here. Climate Plus has been very accommodating and followed through with communication, scheduling and offering options to maintain the unit in good repair. Allison, also, was excellent and pleasant every time I spoke with her.

Response from Climate Plus, LLC:

Thank you for sharing your positive experience with Climate Plus HVAC! We are delighted to hear that Joe provided excellent service, even during late hours, and that he was able to explain the options and history of your unit. We apologize for the intermittent issue and will ensure a thorough follow-up to resolve it. Our team, including Allison, is committed to providing top-notch communication, scheduling, and maintenance options. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we appreciate your trust in us. If you need any further assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out!

Arrived onsite for cooling issue; system randomly freezing up. Performed diagnostic. Check 410a refrigerant levels; possible low charge issue. Also sub cooling fluctuating. Low high-side pressure. Lower liquid line pressure. Charged unit to nameplate manufacturer requirements. Sub cooling stopped fluctuating but is on the high side of acceptable.

Arrived on site for no cooling. Went to attic to check on evaporator clothes, everything was fine metering device is a piston. Inserted temperature probes to check the difference in temperature different temperature peaked at six degrees. We're outside to check pressures on condenser. Pressures of condenser we're in range for low and high side, although superheat was pretty high. Suction line temperature was a bit High did notice that there was no condensation on the suction line. Offered customer a recharge to their unit, customer refused and wanted their usual technician over instead to ask more questions since that technician is more familiar with the unit. We will try to get that technician in as soon as we can but for now Customer was aware of their status/ update and signed off.

Arrived on site for no cooling. Customers stated that the unit turned off on Tuesday. They went to the thermostat and went on mowed and turned it off and then back on, unit kick back on. Ever since customer had zero issues with the unit turning on. Went up to the Attic while the unit was calling for cooling opened up the wiring panel and check all the wiring. Unit was receiving its appropriate to 40 every wire was nice, type, and snug in there. Went outside to check the pressure of the unit, pressures were fine. I went inside and put temperature probe into the vent to check Delta. Temperature difference peaked at 16° difference. Customer did state that at one point from coming from outside they were expecting the house to be nice and cool sort of like a ice wall but upon entrance it was just cool enough to be comfortable.

Arrived on site for leak through ceiling issue. Went upstairs to the Attic to find out the leak. Saw the emergency condensation pan full to the brim over following. Used homeowners wet vacuum to suck up all the water, about 20 to 22 gallons of water. Used hose to siphon the water out of the wet vacuum from the attic. Left emergency pin empty. Found the door for filter hanging off by some pieces of tape. Put the door on securely and added tape around the edges. Float switch was found outside the condensation pan. Blew out the drain pipe of the condensation , felt some resistance but then no resistance after being blown out. Put three bottles of water inside the evaporator condensation pan to check for leaks. Two leak spots were found from the evaporator coil pan. Informed customer about the leak in the evaporator coil condensation pan. Told homeowner that they can use AC but the pan is going to fill up maybe a month maybe a couple days it all depends on the weather / humidity.
