Arrived onsite for no cooling on the first floor. Technician recently cleared drain and the system was blowing fuses. Technician could not get the system running after repairing the short. Upon arrival Performed diagnostic on the system specifically the low voltage wiring. Starting at the nest received error indicating equipment detection and wiring are not correct.
Received a call that the second floor cooling was not operating, upon arrival I was informed that we had disconnected the cooling wire in winter because the heat and air conditioning was running at the same time. No more to reinstalled the cooling wire at the thermostat but there was still no cooling. My cycle the system and confirmed that the blower motor came on but found that the condenser is not operating, I checked voltage and found that I was getting a voltage drop and only getting 15 volts to my condenser instead of 24 volts. I bypass the thermostat and went out to the condenser, found out the condenser was not operated. I confirm that I had high voltage going into the contactor and out of the contractor, the capacitor has failed. Installed a new capacitor installing the system and confirm that the connector is now coming on and operating.

Arrived onsite for no heat service call. Performed diagnostic. The system turned up and fired up. Checked temperature rise and measured the system at 20 degree temperature rise 62/85. Checked air flow and check high fire. Check pressure sensing devices. Observed water noise from ac coil. Measured voltage to the terminal on the control board. Removed wires and found voltage on the y wire. Confirmed operation of the heat. Recommend replacing thermostat back plate possibly thermostat. Also could be short a in thermostat wiring packet but not reading continuity with y wire separated from thermostat back plate.
