Arrived onsite for issue with heating system. Homeowner has water cooled heat pump system R22. Performed diagnostic. Measured air temperature at 70/85 degrees with heat rise at 15 degrees. Measured R22 pressure at 42/168psi. Measured superheat at 42 and sub cooling at 30. System is low on refrigerant and had a refrigerant restriction and possibly a bad metering device. Recommend replacement due to age and equipment. Homeowner agreed to the replacement. Supplier provided 10 week turnaround time for new equipment. Added r22 refrigerant in an effort to hold over the customer until new equipment can be installed. System was about 30% low and is not heating at 72/101 degrees.
