Came out for thermostat, not coming on upon arrival found all the voltage working at the air handler. After checking over everything in the air handler went to the thermostat found the thermostat was not getting 24 V from red to common changed out the wires of red in common at the thermostat to the air handler from red to blue to purple to gray and now the machine is working operating correctly.
Came out because customer wanted us to make sure that the UV and air purifier were working and that mold was not growing found drain line clogged treated drain line and unclogged it customer is working properly and is happy upon leaving
Sent client repair vs replacement
Arrived to find system set to 70 and was 73 in residence. Indoor system was operation condenser was not running due to tripped on condenser lock out. Reset power to find no issues and home cooling. Appears they are having roof work done and could be possible that condenser tripped due to surge. All working as designed. Could not reach client via phone but needs to be made aware that his water heaters are leaking water!!!
Arrived to find air purifier non operational System had been burnt out and made client aware this is unusual for 2 systems to go out in this period of time. Made aware surge protector is highly recommended! Client agreed but wants to wait until the beginning of summer and will call back
James returned and found system set to cool mode and satisfied temp. Adjusted t stat to heat mode and ran system to find temp staying at 70 and room temp to only be climbing higher and higher. Got room temp to 75 degrees within the time frame I had been onsite. System run time for 40 mins. Was too warm outside to run heat pump for extended run time. Manufacturer does not recommend running heat mode when temps exceed 65 degrees. System appears to be working as designed however I did find that the temp displayed in eco bee was off. Offset temp to read accurate temps in home. Please see attached pics for all readings in rooms system controls in home
Arrive to find system in the off position turn system on ran heating to find outdoor unit non-operational due to high-pressure lockout reset system to find system running high head pressure due to improper fan speed on inside unit adjusted fan speed recheck free on charge to find all operating as designed at this time while looking at air handler noticed that the water heaters next to system is leaking water made client aware and made also aware that we have a sister company Apex to take care of his needs no charge 1st year warranty
Brennan G Today I visited for a second opinion. The system is a 2016 Nordyne (frigidaire) 2.5ton with Electric heat. I discovered the system is low on r410a. I preformed a leak search and discovered the condenser coil is leaking. The systems part warranty was never registered and expired in 2021. I provided Austin with Repair and Replacement estimates. Due to the lack of manufacture warranty and repairs cost. We recommend the system is replaced. I emailed Austin a quote to review.

Upon arrival client stated they had another company out and diagnosed a bad heat kit on 2 year old Lennox heat pump. Inspected system to find no signs of heat kit bad. Asked client what prompted them to the service call originally and they stated that they had a weird smell coming from vents. Previous company stated the smell was from the burnt heat kit and all the (biological growth) I found today was burn marks. Advised client heat kit was good and also tested while on site. Did highly recommend cleaning of the air handler cavity, pulling and chemically cleaning the blower wheel assembly, and installing a in duct air purification system with a germicidal lamp with a maintenance membership. Client signed estimate and wants work performed on the 13th of this month.
Quoted client new 2 ton Goodman and carrier heat pump systems to be installed. Client is sending quotes to fema to see what they will cover and will reach back out within the week.
