Discovered system was completely empty of freon. There is a large puddle of oil at bottom of condenser. Could not get ahold of home owner to authorize a leak search.
We were out there recently and found coil completely caked up and growth and hair told the customer we were going to check warranty. Something must’ve came up possibly came out again. Found the same problem. Need to check warranty coil in the morning when warehouse opens unit was frozen up when I got there Thawed out the machine and heating mode and found the refrigerant level to be OK.
System Operating to manufacture specification’s Ecobee thermostat has built in safety for a 5 min delay when changing cooling and heating modes System is operating normally. Units is well maintained.
Found bad wires at thermostat. Had to rewire thermostat and air handler. Cycled and tested system, all operations at this time.
No cooling, system not getting signal from thermostat. Found bad thermostat, also there is no surge protection on the system, and recommended having a UV lamp system installed to prevent biological growth buildup. Gave client solutions for issues with system. Client chose just to replace Thermostat for now. Replaced thermostat and signed client up from annual membership. Office needs to contact client to schedule first tuneup.
Vertical gas furnace
Originally supposed to do an AC tuneup, however, AC was not working upon arrival. Did a complete evaluation of system and found a system completely empty of refrigerant which means there is a major leak in one of the coils. System is 18 years old and client decided to replace the system due to age in cost of repairs. Installing a new gas furnish with air-conditioning system on Monday March 24.
Mach one tuneup
Brennan G Today I visited for the system not cooling. I discovered the primary drain line/pan where clogged and the water sensor was shutting the system off. I preformed a chemical flush out of the pan and line. I watched the system run and verified it is cooling and draining normally before leaving. Emailed invoice for payment
